Answer:

m< W = 70

Explanation:

First you have to find what x equals

To do that find all the angles inside triangle VWU

We can find angle U by subtracting 180- 86

= 94

SO now add up the variables from inside the triangle

x + 8 + 94 + 9x - 2 = 180

Add up like terms

10x + 100 = 180

Isolate 10x

10x + 100-100 = 180-100

10x = 80

Divide 10 in each side

x= 8

Now the question is to find m<W

We already know the x so just put it in the angle

9(8) - 2

72 - 2

=70

To make sure it is correct find all the angles and add them all together to make sure it adds up to 180

70 + 94 + (8+8)

=180

Answer:

Explanation:

∠VUD + ∠WUV = 180° {Straight line}

86 + ∠WUV = 180

∠WUV = 180 - 86

∠WUV = 94°

Sum of all angles of triangle = 180°

∠VUW + ∠UWV + ∠WVU = 180

94 + x + 8 + 9x - 2 = 180

10x + 100 = 180

10x = 180 - 100

10x = 80

x = 80/10

x = 8

∠W = 9x - 2 = 9*8 -2 = 72 -2

∠W = 70°
