the cost of buying uniforms for new track members can be found by the equation c=12+35u, where u is the number of uniforms bought. There are between 10 and 15 new members. find the domain and range.

c = 12 +35 u

Where c represent the cost of buying uniforms and u the uniforms bought. We also know that we have between 10 and 15 new members so then our domain would be:


10 \leq u \leq 15

And in order to find the range we can replace in the original equation the value of u=10 and u =15 and we got:


c(10) = 12+ 35*10 =362


c(15) = 12+ 35*15 =537

And the range for this case would be:


362 \leq c \leq 537
