so the perimeter of the drawing will be 4 * 2.5 = 10 inches

area of drawing = 2.5 x 2.5 = 6.25 in^2

the actual object will have side lengths

2.5 in / 1 inch/ 5mm = 12.5 mm

four sides each 12. 5 mm = 50 mm

area of object = 12.5 x 12.5 = 156.25 mm^2
