The next step is to add up the number of x's in that angle. You can do this by adding the values of 4 and 1, this gives you 5.

The final step is to divide the angle 160 by the total number of x's of 5, this gives you 32°. This si because we had previously isolated the value of the 5x and so by dividing it by 5 so we would work out the value of x.

1) Minus 20 from 180.


180-20=160

2) Add 4 and 1.


4+1=5

3) Divide 160 by 5.


160/5=32
