Explanation:

Luna = l, Nick = n

  • l = 3n
  • l + 6 = 2( n+ 6)

Substitute l in the second equation

  • 3n + 6 = 2n + 12
  • 3n - 2n = 12 - 6
  • n = 6

Then

  • l = 3*6 = 18
