Sooo I have an Art Project where I have to make a poster about types of art and I picked Performance Art...What is Performance Art and how can I define it in my own words?

In performance art, the human body is the medium used to express a series of actions or motions that are meant to promote an emotional response or connection from the audience.

Perfomace art is when an artist displays his / her artistic skills in front of a live audience, recording or documentation through dance, music, drama, fashion, opera etc to show various art forms and the magic behind its creation.

Examples are, ballet, opera, ballads, fashion, etc.

It involves four basic elements: time, space, the performer's body, or presence in a medium, and a relationship between performer and audience.
