The heart is the organ in circulatory system that pumps blood throughout the body by the help of the atriums and ventricles that supply oxygen, nutrients to the body and take out deoxygenated blood away to the lungs.
ATRIUMS AND VENTRICLES
The right atrium is the upper chamber of the heart that receives deoxygenated blood from the vena cava and pumps it into the right ventricle which sends the blood out to the lungs so that it become oxygenated.
Left ventricle the thickest of all the heart's chambers is responsible for the pumping of oxygenated blood to tissues all throughout the body.
