Answer:2 and 53/60 pounds of candy

Explanation:

1 1/3 = 4/3, so X = 4/3 + 3/4 + 4/5

You want the a common denmenator to add the fractions together. An easy was to do that is to multiply all the denominators together 3x4x5 = 60

for 4/3, 60/3 is 20, so the numerator is 4x20 to get 80/60

for 3/4, 60/4 is 15, so the numertor is 3x15 to get 45/60

for 4/5, 60/5 is 12, so the numerator is 4x12 to get 48/60

80/60 + 45/60 + 48/60 = 173/60 or simplified to 2 53/60

So she sold 2 and 53/60 pounds
