∠A = ∠B

8x - 8 = 5x + 25

Add 8 to both sides

8x - 8 + 8 = 5x + 25 + 8

8x = 5x + 33

Subtract 5x from both sides

8x - 5x = 5x +33 - 5x

3x = 33

Divide both sides by 3

3x/3 = 33/3

x = 11

∠B = 5x + 25 = 5*11 + 25 = 55 +25 = 80

∠B = 80°
