Answer:

2x²+2x+5

Explanation:

Since the area of a square is a² (where a is the length of one of its sides) we'll have:

(x—1)(x—1)+(x+2)(x+2) = (2x+1)+(+4x+4) = 2x²+2x+5

So write the answer as: 2, 2 and 5
