Explanation:

Since parallel lines means no solutions, the two equations will have the same slopes but different y-intercepts.

so we could use the first equations slope and find the y intercept by plotting in the the coordinates.

3=5(-2) + b

3= -10 + b

+10 +10

b= 13

so the equation will be like this y= 5x + 13
