German coast uprising, 1811 it was 40 miles north of New Orleans. Charles Deslonde was the slave leader in Louisiana. He led the one fo largest slave revolts. The slaves following Deslonde engaged in combat with General Hampton and his militia. Three days past and people in positions of power attempted to gain control of the madness but failed. Deslonde got shot and a burial was held for him. Another example, Charleston Rebellion whose leader was a slave carpenter who had happened to win the lottery. The slave carpenter spent his winning money to buy himself freedom and generate a rebellion in South Carolina
