Answer:

16.7% (no nearest tenth of a percent)

Explanation:

Probability is the likelihood or chance that an event will occur.

Probability = Expected outcome/total outcome

If a two six-sided dice is rolled, the total number of sample space will be 6² i.e 36.

If the sum of odd numbers is gotten, the expected outcome will be the set {3,5,7,3,5,7,5,7,9,5,7,9,7,9,11,9,11,13,9}

Total expected outcome if the sum is even = 18

Probability that the sum will be odd = 18/36 = 1/2

If the numbers gotten are multiple of 3, the expected outcome will be the set {3,6,3,6,6,9,6,9,6,9,9,12}

Total expected outcome if the multiple is 3 = 12

Probability that the sum will be 3 is 12/36 =1/3

probability that the sum will be odd or a multiple of three = 1/2*1/3 = 1/6

= 0.167

= 16.7% (no nearest tenth of a percent)
