Step-by-step explanation:

This is a little bit of a confusing assignment because multiple of these descriptions can be categorized into different types of clouds. Anyway, assuming each definition requires two answers, here's what I assume is correct:

Cumulus Clouds: Cumulus clouds are the iconic cotton ball shape and most often referred to as the most gorgeous. However, when these clouds grow tall into the atmosphere (ie the sky that continues to rise into space), they turn into Cumulonimbus clouds. Cumulonimbus clouds, technically still Cumulus clouds, often carry with them thunderstorms and lightning.

Stratus Clouds: Stratus clouds develop in long, flat sheets. They are a very low floating cloud, however I believe this definition in the options is saved for fog. These clouds are very often grey and are associated with rain and overcast weather, however they do not indicate T-storms.

Cirrus Clouds: These are another gorgeous cloud, both wispy and feather-like, and they fly extremely high in our atmosphere. They also indicate very fair, calm weather as well.

Fog: Ironically enough, and not to make this assignment anymore confusing, fog is actually a type of stratus cloud. However, fog only forms at low altitudes, or very low against the ground, and typically occurs when the ground is far cooler than the air.

In summary, if we are arranging these answers in a 1-2-3 fashion, the answers would be: Cumulus: 7&8 Stratus: 5&5 Cirrus: 1&2 Fog: 3&4
