John lives in Massachusetts (MA). On a walk to work John saw 12 parked cars 8 of which have MA licence plates. If John selects randomly 9 of these 12 cars, what is the probability that all of the cars he selected will be with out of state plates?

Answer: probability = 0.0

Explanation:

Out of 12 cars, 8 have MA licence plates (4 do not have)

Then we have 4 cars with out of state plates.

Then, out of these 12 cars we can not not have more than 4 cars with out of state plates (because there are only 4) then he never can se 9 cars with out of state plates.

The probability of seing 9 cars with out of state plates is 0.
