Answer:

We all played the same games over and over again. When you are told to stay inside for 3 months and not leave between the hours of 10pm-5am, there is really nothing one can do. When you played the same games five weeks in a row, you start to get bored. Eventually you beat all the levels and win all the prizes. And, ever so slowly, you start playing less and less. Until you realize that you have gone a week without playing video games. And now your- GASP!- reading! And what's worse! You're interacting with your family! You no longer stay in your room hours on end. You start to like your little brother and you are now playing outside with him. You start to allow your sister to braid your hair. Your mother is now teaching you how to bake. You're helping your father grill hamburgers outside in the yard. Life is becoming okay. And your not even playing video games!

Answer:

At first, video games like Animal Crossing and others became extremely popular during quarantine. People would become highly engaged in playing video games, immersing themselves fully into the games, thinking that this was the hype, that this was what they were going to be doing the duration of the quarantine. Unfortunately, as the quarantine became longer, their interest in video games began to slowly but steadily fade and dwindle. The video games that they were playing were boring and they never got hyped about them, so they stopped playing video games.
