Answer:It does not take hours to fill up the pool but just 10 minutes!
Step-by-step explanation:First you have to divide 1,000 by 10 because the hose is filling up the pool 10 gallons in 1 minute,when you divide 1,000 by 10 you get 100.There are 60 minutes in a hour but the hose is filling up the pool 10 gallons at a time and if you multiply 10 times 10 you get 100,which gives you the answer 10 minutes!
