Hannah will roll a number cube, labelled 1 through 6 , 300 times. about how many times could Hannah expect to roll a number less than 4?

We know that there are 3 numbers less than four on a die.

So, 3 out of 6 numbers=3/6=1/2=0.5=50%

If Hannah rolls the die, we can expect that it will roll a number less than 3 50% of the time. If she rolls the die 300 times, we then know that she will roll a number less than 4

0.5*300 times, which equals 150 times.
