In order to find the zeros of function, you have to make function g(x) equals to 0 :

Let g(x) = 0,


{(x - 12)}^(2) - 30.25 = 0


{(x - 12)}^(2) = 30.25


x - 12 = ± √(30.25)


x - 12 = 5.5


x = 17.5


x - 12 = - 5.5


x = 6.5
