Explanation:

The general equation of a line is

y = mx+ b , where m is the slope of the line and b is the y-intercept of the line ( where the line intersects the vertical y-axis)

From the graph we can see that the line intersects the y-axis at 20, so our y- intercept is b = 20

Now will find the slope of the line, and for that we need any two points from the line.

For example let's pick points ( x1= 0, y1 = 20) and ( x2 = 4, y2 = 21)

the slope m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (21-20)/ (4-0) = 1/4

slope of the line is m = 1/4

The equation of the graph shown in the graph is

y = (1/4)x + 20
