Explanation

After I enlist for WW2 and get of the train the first thing that terrifies me is boot camp at Paris Island south Carolina. Immediately as I get off of the train drill instructors swarm around us screaming at us and telling us "when they are done shaping us lumps of dirt we should become marines". After months of training we are finally shipped off to Iwo Jima. The first thing I see is the heavy equipment on the Black sand then the smell of death hits my nose. I am ordered to move deeper into the forest with my company. I quickly then see the full aspect of war.

As I follow my company through the thick jungle I see a village burning down with the screams of the Japanese and the smell of the burning flesh. We are quickly ordered to stop our advancement and to help the trucks cross a shallow river by pushing it. As we are pushing I see a little girl with long black hair floating face down in the water. Once we finally reach our destination we are order to take the top of Mt. Suribachi. During the five weeks of constant battle for the mountain. I have seen things that no man should ever see. After the battle I was sent back to United States that was when I finally realized my biggest fear, the suffering of others.

I would only use this if you know a lot about the military and stuff like how I do. I hope this helps!
