Explanation:

4x - 3y = 1 ....... 1

3y = x - 1 ..... 2

sub 2 in 1

4x - (x -1) = 1

4x - x + 1 = 1

3x = 1 - 1

3x = 0

divide by 3 on both side

x = 0

sub the value of x in 2

3y = 0 - 1

3y = -1

divide by 3 on both sides

y = - 1/3

(x;y)

(0;-1/3)
