Each box will take 2 feet

To determine the total number of box he'll make from 223,

1 box = 2 feet of wood

X box = 223 feet of wood

X = (223 × 1) / 2

X = 111.5 box approximately 112 boxes

But technically, since its 111.5, he'll be able to make 111 boxes completely with 0.5 feet of wood left
