Answer:

Surface area of right circular cylinder = 1,122 inches²

Explanation:

Given:

Origin radius = 7 inches

Original height = 17 inches

New radius = 7 × 3 inches = 21 inches

New height = 1/2(17) = 8.5 inches

Find:

Surface area of right circular cylinder = ?

Computation:

⇒ Surface area of right circular cylinder = 2
\pirh

⇒ Surface area of right circular cylinder = 2 × (22/7) × (21) × (8.5)

Surface area of right circular cylinder = 1,122 inches²
