The rule for reflecting across the x axis is

(x,y)----> (x,-y)

So basically you multiply the y coordinate by -1 and keep the x coordinate the same. There you have it!

This is because the x coordinate is staying in the same place. The y- coordinate has to move 14 blocks down. This results in the y-coordinate being -7. Also if you reflect a pair of coordinate over the x-axis remember the y axis switches the signs. If you reflect a pair of coordinate over the y-axis remember the x axis switches the signs.
