The memory trick most people use is for sin, cos, and tan, they call it SOH, CAH, and TOA where the A means Adjacent, the H means Hypotenuse and the O means Opposite. so sin would be Opposite/Hypotenuse, cos is Adjacent/Hypotenuse, and tan is Opposite/Adjacent.

Because the Hypotenuse is not given, we must use the formula A^2+B^2=C^2 where A is the height, B is the width, and C is the slope side. You will get C=13 if you do it correctly. Now you can solve for Sin, Cos, and Tan

Sin A= 5/13 (Opposite/Hypotenuse)

Cos A= 12/13 (Adjacent/Hypotenuse)

Tan A= 5/12 (Opposite/Adjacent)
