Answer:

-The slope of the following graph:

m = 3 or
m = -3

Explanation:

-To find the slope you need this:

m = (rise)/(run)

-So, according to graph the it shows that there are two point (1,-2) and (-2,7). To start from the first point to the second point, you need to count how far up or down (vertical) and how left or right (horizontal):

Rise: 9

Run: 3

or

Rise: 9

Run: -3

After you have the rise and the run, you need to solve the equation in order to get the slope:

m = (9)/(3) or
m =(9)/(-3)

m = 3 or
m = -3

So, therefore the slope of the following graph is
m = 3 or
m = -3.

Answer:

Slope= -7

Explanation:

I like to use the rise/run method.

Take the point at (1,-2) and count up to (1, 7). Then because it is going left, you count your run over 3 points. Or you could do.

(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = slope
