Probability =\frac{\text{Favorable outvome }}{\text{Total outcome}}


(1)/(30)=\frac{\text{no of tickets bought}}{\text{Total no of tickets}}


(1)/(30)=\frac{\text{no of tickets bought}}{150}

no of tickets bought
=(150)/(30)=5

and no of tickets bought=No of friends

Therefore there 5 persons who bought tickets
