y-3=15+3=18

Y=-3+3 cancels each other out. And gives you y alone but REMEMBER WHAT YOU DO TO ONE SIDE YOU HAVE TO DO ON THE OTHER.

That is why you see that -3 becomes + 3 when moved to get y=18
