Answer:

for 9, the answer is 246.49

Explanation:

This is area of a circle correct?

The formula is PI x radius squared.

3.14 x the radius, which is 5, squared

I am re-editing this

so sorry the answer is actually 78.54

The reason why it is 78.54 is that you need to square the radius before multiplying with PI.

Explanation:

okay, so the area of a circle can be found with the formula πr^2

this means you have to square the radius of the circle and multiply it by pi to find your answer.

9) r=5

πr^2

π(5)^2 = 25π or about 78.54cm^2

this is how you get the area of all other circles!

10) r=9

πr^2

π(9)^2 = 81π or about 254.47mi^2

11) r=8

πr^2

π(8)^2 = 64π or about 201.06mi^2

12) r=4.5

πr^2

π(4.5)^2 = 20.25π or about 63.62in^2

13) r=6.6

πr^2

π(6.6)^2 = 43.56π or about 136.85yd^2

14) r=2

πr^2

π(2)^2 = 4π or about 12.56cm^2

15) r=9

πr^2

π(9)^2 = 81π or about 254.47in^2

16) r=7

πr^2

π(7)^2 = 49π or about 153.94km^2
