Answer:

You do in some situations have to break apart a solid figure in a certain way to find it's volume. Everything is made up out of some type of shape. You just have to find the right formula. Some solid figures you might have a cube and a pyramid. Each one of those has it's specail way of finding volume.

Yes am pretty sure you have to break the figure apart especially if it has multiple shapes in it
