3 x - 2 = 4 x + 9/3

Multiply both sides of the equation by 3

9 x - 6 = 4x + 9

Move variable to the left-hand side and change its sign

9 x - 4 x - 6 = 9

Collect like terms

5 x = 9 + 6

Divide both side of the equation by 5

X = 3

And you answer is X = 3

Thanks :)
