The lost boys left sudan due to there being a war going on and it was not safe for them to learn or live there so they had to travel for days, to weeks, to months, to years, To make it to safety. I hope that helped!

Because they were killing everybody in their country & they wanted to escape but when they got their new life they had a hard time adjusting
