Answer:

(y - y1) = m (x - x1)

First find m (Slope)

m = (x2 - x1)/ (y2 - y1)

m = ( 6 - (-6)) / (5 - (-5)) = (6+6)/(5+5) = 12/10 = 6/5

now plug in numbers into top eq.

y - (-6) = 6/5 ( x - (-5))

y + 6 = 6/5 (x +5)

y + 6 = 6/5 x +30/5

y = 6/5 x + 30 /5 - 6

y = 6/5 x +6 - 6

y = 6/5x

y = 6/5(0)

y = 0

Y - intercept = 0
