How would I find x, I know it's an isosceles triangle but I so not know how to solve for it?????​

Since it's an isosceles triangle the other side is x because it's the same value.

x^2 + x^2= (7
`√(2)` )^2

Add the left side

2x^2= 7^2 +
`√(2)`^2 roots and square roots cancel each other out

So -> 2x^2= 49 x 2 =98

just solve for x.

x^2 = 98/2

x^2= 49

Square root both sides

x= 7
