Predators are animals that hunt other animals, called prey. How do predator and prey populations affect one another?

Answer:

The less prey there is, the less predators there will be also, and vice versa.

Step-by-step explanation:

If there is less food, there will be a smaller population of those that would eat it because there would be nothing, or very little, to eat. The same thing goes for extra food. The more food, the larger population of those that eat it because there would be a surplus.

I hope this helps! Have a greay day and stay safe!
