1. Kevin is trying to climb over a wall to sneak into Miguel's fortress in Clash of Clans. Kevin is 6 feet
from the wall. If the wall is 8 feet tall, how long must the ladder be?

Explanation:

Use the Pythagorean theorem to answer this question. Kevin is 6 feet away from the wall and the wall is 8 feet tall. You then draw a right triangle and label it with sides a and b which in this case is 6 and 8. The equation for the Pythagorean Theorem is a^2+b^2=c^2 putting the knowing information in it becomes 8^2+6^2=c^2. You can then plug this into a calculator and get 100. We are not done yet, you then want to square root 100 and get 10. This is how long the ladder has to be so Kevin can get over the wall.
