Explanation:

To find the lateral surface area, all we need to do is find the surface area for one of the lateral faces and then multiply it by 4.


(1)/(2) *b*h


(1)/(2) *5*5.6=2.5*5.6=14

Now the area of all the lateral faces:

14*4=56

The total surface area is the lateral area plus the base.

56+(5*5)=56+25=81
