Answer:

eighth graders to become tremendously strong readers who know authors, but this should raise a flag that something in the student's book is hard for them to understand a lot of middle school students who struggle with reading learn the spelling and the interesting facts in a book. The unit doesn't teach kids about how to understand the book. Sometimes times authors make allusions to try to make students really think but It just makes it harder to understand the book.
