What is the value of "Y" to the "2nd" power minus "X" to the "2nd" power when "Y" = 6 and "X" =5

Explanation:

y^2 - x^2

y = 6, x = 5

6^2 - 5^2

When using exponets we multiply a number by itself as many times as the exponet says, so in this case we multiply 6 x 6 and 5 x 5

6 x 6 = 36 5 x 5 = 25

36 - 25 = 11
