The median value is 52.5.

The lower quartile is 47 and the higher quartile is 58.

Most of the students lie in the range of 50-60.

Explanation:

Arrange all the data ib ascending order like 40, 40, 42, 42... and so on.

Assign the data to their respective ranges.

For example: 40 belongs to 40-50 range.

Also note that the maximum number in a range belongs to the next range as 50 does not belong in 40-50 it belongs in 50-60 range.

After assigning the values count the numbers of values in each range.

The range having the max. quantity of students is the final answer.
