A dog run has an area of at least 150 square feet. The length of the run has to be 12 feet. What us the width of the run?​

12.5 ft

Explanation:

Area of a rectangle of length L and width W: A = L * W

Then 150 ft^2 = (12 ft)(width), and so:

(width) = (150 ft^2) / (12 ft) = 12.5 ft

Explanation:

so you would do 150 divided by 12 which would give you 12.5 so the width has to be 12.5 because length times width = area and 12.5 time 12 = 150
