The members of a club are making friendship bracelets to sell to raise money. Anna and Emily made 54 bracelets over the weekend. They need to produce 300 bracelets by the end of the week. What percent of the bracelets were they able to produce over the weekend?

Answer:

72% (I think)

Explanation:

If you were talking about the weekend as in Saturday and Sunday and they were supposed to get 300 by the end of the next Saturday, then I'm pretty sure this is right. if they make 54 bracelets in two days, that means that they make 27 every day and they had 8 days to make them so 27 multiplied by 8 is 216 and 216 out of 300 is 72%. But I'm in 6th grade so I might have gotten this wrong :(

Answer:

18%

Explanation:

to get the percentage, you divide the amount created by the total amount, 54/300 (it equals .18). You then multiply that by 100 to get your percentage, 18%.
