y-2

Explanation:

x+3/3=y+2/2

cross multiply

2(x+3)=3(y+2)

2x+6=3y+2

2x=3y+2-6

2x=3y-4 (divide both sides by 2)

2x/2=3y-4/2

x=3y-2

therefore substitute x=3y-2 into x/3

3y-2/3

=y-2
