Explain two reasons why Jews study the Tenakh and the Talmud.

Answer:

The Talmud trains rabbis and their disciples, and became what would help people train into religious leaders. They also tend to use it to study Scripture and have used it to read and explain the Bible. These explanations are commonly found in the Talmud. Traditional Jews, study it because of the way that the truth is communicated (God's truth and how he wants Israel to live). I really hope this helped some!
