To find the volume of a triangular prism:

⇒ necessary to know the formula

Volume = (Area-of-Triangular- base)*(length)

Let's first find the area of the triangular base:

⇒the formula for the finding the area of a triangle is ⇒
(1)/(2)bh

  • b: length of base --> 3mm
  • h: length of height: 6mm

Area of the triangle is
(1)/(2)*3*6=3*3=9

Since the area of the triangular base is 9 and the length is 5.22

⇒ the volume is:

Volume = 9 * 5.22=46.98mm^3

When the volume is rounded to the nearest tenth, the volume is 47.0
mm^3

Hope that helps!
