Read the following entry from Anne's diary and answer the question that follows:

"I see the world gradually being turned into a wilderness, and I hear every approaching thunder, which will destroy us too, I can feel the suffering of millions and yet, if I look up into the heavens, I think it
will all come right, and that this cruelty too will end, and that peace and tranquility will return again. In the meantime, I must uphold my ideals, for perhaps the time will come when I shall be able to carry
them out."

Answer:

Anne's words show resilience because they illustrate her belief that things will get better, and how she will hold her ambitions and morals close even during trying times. She will not give up who she is due to the situation she is in. This claim is supported by "I must uphold my ideals, for perhaps the time will come when I shall be able to carry," This shows her hope towards a better future. Additionally, this text also shows how she hopes that after these events, she can return her life to a sense of normalcy.

Hope this helped! Comment if you have any questions. :)
