The answer is D: 5.8.
Explanation:
Let's move all of our known numbers to the left side
This way we get this: -4.84 - 2.7=1.3x
If we subtract those numbers: -5.8=-1.3x
You can times the whole equation by '-1'. You will get 5.8=1.3x
To find x, divide the whole equation by '1.3', you will get x=5.8/1.3
When we divide 5.8 by 1.3, we get 5.8. That means x=5.8
