There were several positive and negative impacts of the anti-war movement. I would say a couple positive impacts consist of the work that the movement did through the protest or other available means such as matching or placard waving in order to make an attempt to try and get the government to stop the war or conflicts involved. Another impact could include how it made the government look, they were accountable to the citizens. It also led to curbing of resources wastage. Some of the negative impacts may include a high jacking of the movement. By hijacked, I mean that the opposition that was being using for the movement could be used against the movement for personal ambition or even motives which were the opposite to the main motive that the movement was trying to establish. On top of this, the protest could most definitely lead to violence which could cause harm to numerous people and their or public property.
