Explanation:

I used a^2 + b^2 = c^2.

2^2 + 3^2 = c^2 which is the hypotenuse ( the slide)

^^^^^^^^^^these are the legs that make up the right angle. FIRST get the square root of those and add them. THEN the total of that which is 13. Square root 13...√13 and it gives you 3.6055512etc.

Using the pythagorean theorem:
2 squared + 3 squared = slide length squared
13= slide length squared
3.605 or about 3.6
